July 26th

This afternoon we went into Custer for their Gold Discovery days car show. Relatively small collection, with some cars from out of state, but fun. Lots of old 50s and 60s pickup trucks that had been modified. One completely custom bodied car that was quite lovely. In the morning they had a balloon launch and then around 10 am a parade but we chose to miss those and have our usual morning. Beautiful day here, in the 80s, until this evening when the thunderstorms returned along with some rain. Plans for Sunday are unsure and Monday we have to take Lynell's sewing machine into Rapid City for repair as it failed yesterday. We may head to Sturgis after dropping off the machine. That's all for today. :-)
